SAMASTIPUR [JKNEWS175] : A case of rape of a five-year-old girl has come to light in Samhuta Mathia village of Kachhwa Sub-Divisional area of Bikramganj sub-division of Rohtas district of Bihar. The police has arrested the accused 19-year-old youth. The victim's father told that due to the enmity of the panchayat elections, this cruelty happened to his daughter. He alleged that while campaigning for a candidate, some people had threatened him that he would face consequences if the election results were rigged.
The victim's father told that he had gone to Sasaram for the counting of votes in favor of his supported candidate, when the opposition group got information about the defeat, then in anger, his daughter was picked up from the house and raped. It is alleged that due to the defeat in the Panchayat elections, the people of the opposition have committed this crime by seducing a youth of the village itself.
Bikramganj DSP Shashi Shekhar Kumar said that as soon as the matter came to the notice, the police, showing readiness, arrested the accused youth. Police is interrogating him. He said that whoever was involved in this incident would not be spared. Police have sent the victim girl home after getting her medical examination done. His condition is normal.
